Another great meeting! We had a wonderful time at our December meeting, having brunch and discussing “My Cousin Rachel” by Daphne du Maurier. We all really enjoyed it. Some members had also read other books by the author so we talked a little about them. Most liked either “My Cousin Rachel” or “Rebecca” best.
After our brunch we decided our next meeting will be January 27th. The time has changed from 10:00 to 10:30. I know some had trouble making it to the meetings at 10. Hopefully the time now allows for people to attend church or spend time with their families.
This month we will be reading “The Mermaid Chair” by Sue Monk Kidd. I know this has been a very popular book that some might have already read. But even if you’ve read it before come to the meeting and tell us what you thought!
