Our July meeting went well. We met the beginning of August and discussed “The Year of Living Biblically” by A.J. Jacobs. We had varying opinions. Some of us really liked it, others were hoping for a little more, but we all agreed it was an interesting concept for a book.

We then decided to pick our next two books. Our August book will be, “Animal, Vegetable, Miracle” by Barbra Kingsolver. We will meet to discuss this book on August 31st. Our September book will be “Audition” by Barbra Walters. In September we will thought it would be fun to get together with another book club on the island. We have some similar members and are looking forward to meeting and seeing how they do things and what they have read. This meeting will take place towards the end of September, I’ll post a date soon.
