Thank you so much for one of our members allowing us to come out to her house for our last meeting. We had a wonderful meal and enjoyed sangria while we watched the sunset! It was harder to get our hands on the book than we expected so only a few of us were able to read it. But those who were able to really liked it. It had a positive message and even though some of the flashbacks were a little farfetched it added to the story and we enjoyed it to the end.

Our next book will be “The Sparrow” by Mary Doria Russell. It deals with spirituality and science fiction, a fun mix! You can find the book on amazon for around $4 and there are also quite a few copies at the library. We were so busy at our last meeting that we forgot to pick a date for May. We have been meeting the last Sunday of each month so unless that is a problem for anyone we will meet on the 25th of May at 10:30. See you there!
